Royal Hawaiian - A first class service at an economical price is right!
We received nothing but quality service from Royal Hawaiian. When we arrived, the driver was there before we were able to get off the plane and wait for the long lines at the restrooms to go down. We were extremely happy with this as our transportation by another company in Los Angeles was late on picking us up and did not live up to their motto "on time or free."
Our driver was patient as we took pictures as he greeted us with leis. He took our pictures and made us feel the Aloha of Hawaii. What impressed us most was the fact that when we made it to the beach community where we booked a villa, he could have dropped us at the first one but he made sure that we arrived at the right complex. We were happy because the community gave us the run-around and it took four stops before we made it to the right villa complex.
The driver who was assigned to pick us up was also prompt (actually a few minutes early) and were again delighted. (We would learn how happy we were for prompt service when we got back to LA.) Our driver again was very knowledgeable and even made us feel like we should stay another week, but work was calling :-( and we had to come back.
When we had to wait in the long lines to get bags checked then checked in and then get through security, we were glad that our driver got us there on time. (By the way, I don't know if curbside is any faster, but it sure worth a try and worth any extra cost you may incur because we were in line at HNL for so so long.)
Our wait for transportation for the other company in LA was again way too long. They had our flight information but we still waited in the cold for about 45 minutes. All in all, Royal Hawaiian is the best transportation service I have experienced anywhere and I have traveled many places and used a transportation service. (I think I will go back to parking my car at LAX though, especially during winter months after coming from such a nice tropical climate.)

Royal Hawaiian exceeded my expectations with promptness and patience! After such a long flight, our party had to use the restroom before going to ground transportation to be met by our driver and if you have been to Hawaii, you know that the lines to the men's restroom is just as long as the women's restrooms so the wait was long as we took turns watching all our carry-on luggage. Samir called during this wait to let us know that he was at ground transportation and would wait to greet us. I thought he was extremely patient and accommodating for us while we made our way to retrieve our luggage but what was even more amazing was that he was more than willing to allow us to take pictures as he draped us with leis and took photos with us. But the real test came when we reached the community where we were staying for the week. We had no idea of which lagoon we were to go to and we got the run around from the hotels and our driver ended up taking us to each lagoon before we arrived at the right one. He was kind and patient and still took our pictures as we waited for our coordinator to get the right information.
Not only was the driver early for picking us up from the airport, the driver who picked us up to take us back was also early and we were back to the airport in time to withstand the long lines to come back.
Royal Hawaiian states that they are economical and first class. I know first hand that they are. I just wish that the transportation service we received in Los Angeles to begin and end our trip was just as prompt. Unfortunately, the transportation in LA was late on both sides of the trip. You won't go wrong with Royal Hawaiian!

Jan 27 2010 we arrived in Honolulu without a clue where we are. I had never been to Honolulu before. We looked for our driver but did not know if they were coming. I started up my cell phone to find they had been here phoning for me three times. I was very impressed with the diligence the Honolulu Airport Shuttle showed. We got in contact with Paul and he was there very fast. Paul gave us our leighs and it was awesome. He told us on the way to the hotel all he could do for us and helped make us feel at ease in a place we did not know. Jan31 we had to book out early and left a message with the Airport Shuttle as to when we needed to be picked up. I was not sure that they would receive the message and use it. I was overwhelmed when later that night they had us booked to go when I said I needed the Shuttle. Elaine was early and helped us with all our stuff. I was so impressed with the level of kindness and service from both drivers. I will use them again. Patrick Green.

I found Royal Hawaiian Taxi via google the end of December. I called and spoke with John and give him the list of needs we had. Two family members were arriving January 5th and the other 15 members were arriving on January 6th. Royal Hawaiian provided all our transportation, Pearl Harbor, Polynesian Cultural Center, and NCL Cruise Lines. The drivers were very professional and informative and were always on time. I liked that John would call in the evening and provide us with the schedule for the next day. All the stress was gone when I contacted John. Thank you so much for the wonderful way our family was taken care of. A special thanks to John, Paul and Elaine. You are part of our wonderful memories of Hawaii.
I arrived a day before my parents. My driver was very friendly, courteous and helpful. He made a few detour to show me some interesting places to visit. Tom, the manager of Royal Hawaiian Taxi, made an arrangement so that my parents were picked up the following day by a driver who spoke some Japanese, and my mom enjoyed teaching her a few more Japanese words. Our reunion could not have been more smooth. On our way back, the driver was on time and she called me to let me know where she was so we had enough time for check out and meet her at the lobby. I would definitely use the service from Royal Hawaiian company again on my next trip to Hawaii.

had a wonderful experience with the shuttle. on the day that we departed honolulu the driver was right on time. very helpful with the bags and a complete joy to talk to along the way to the airport. again, very helpful with off loading our bags. very polite, knowledgeable(we talked mostly about american politics). unfortunately didn't have the opportunity to experience the shuttle on our return. there was a 20 hour delay in sacramento and by then i had made arrangements for my personal vehicle to be available. besides, as it turned out we arrived honolulu at 6 am and the shuttle would not have been available anyway!!! but i would not hesitate to use the shuttle again, and have told my friends about the very good service that we enjoyed. thank you honolulu airport shuttle!!! nicholas
My wife and I took the liberty of choosing the Royal Hawaiian Taxi service for our trip to and from the Honolulu airport in 2008. We were treated with courtesy, respect and professionalism by the driver who @ 7:00 am in the morning after we landed made us feel welcome to the island. Our drive to the hotel was warm and friendly with his pointing out several places of interest on the island. For our return he contacted us to let us know what time he would arrive and we again were met with the same warmth as we did when we arrived. We have chosen them for our return trip in 2010 again. If the first did not meet my expectations, why would I do it the second time. I would personally recommend this service to anyone who visit Honolulu anytime if you are looking for quality service. I am currently a student at BYU Hawaii, and I had a long day of travel. It is always difficult to leave your family when you are just getting started on your own, and I was nervous about making it back to my dorm. Luckily my parents found the Royal Hawaiian Taxi service, and all my worries subsided. On the day of my arrival I had been traveling for twelve hours, and it was very late at night, but right on schedule I got a personal phone call from the RHT service and was told that I had a ride waiting for me. After I was able to get out to the car I was greeted by a very professional and kind gentleman who took me out the the area I needed to be in. The Royal Hawaiian Taxi service provided an extremely comfortable and professional atmosphere to travel in, and I was exceptionally pleased with their service, and would recommend them in a heart beat.

Can't say enough about how good their service is. I had a wheelchair and it was not problem for them to transport. All pick ups were right on time and great way to start a holiday. Prices are the best I found.
